About Course

Course Objectives:

1. To close the gap currently existing between security performance and security
   expectations.
2. To empower security practitioners with prerequisite knowledge of property and human
   protection skills.
3. To inculcate a spirit of professionalism within the security fraternity.
4. To empower security professionals with criminal investigation skills.

Entry Requirements:

5 O’ Levels, special entry considered on merit. Access to the Internet, and basic computer knowledge.

Duration:

6 months (lessons held once every month on a weekend and or online). For online students, we expect you to attend the first lesson and the final exam.

1. Theory and Practice of Security
2. Crime, Cyber-Crime and Crime Control
3. Organisational Behaviour and the Business Environment
4. Security and the Legal Environment
5. Communication and Management of Security Records
6. Principles of Investigations

Assessment: Group Presentations, Assignments and Written examinations
Certification: Qualifying students shall be certified by NUST-CCE.
