About Course
This programme seeks to equip participants with effective support, communication, behaviour
management, industry information requirements, safety procedures, cultural sensitivity and
counselling knowledge and skills to maintain and provide personal care and assistance to clients
in aged-care residential facilities.
Entry Requirements: Mandatory: At least 3 “O” levels subjects with a grade of E or better,
including English Language. Proficiency in English Language is a
must!
Optional: Red Cross Certificate and Certificate III in Aged Care
and Support.
Age: 17 – 50 years
Duration: 3 consecutive months (2 blocks of 4 days offered once in a
fortnight, for 4 hours a day).
Uniforms Sky blue & navy-blue tops Navy-blue formal slacks, trousers or skirts Black shoes.
Please note that no tight or short skirts will be allowed. For placement, you will need moccasins or similar shoes.
