Bhekizulu Tshuma is a journalism and media studies lecturer specializing in Digital Journalism, Newswriting, and Media Ethics modules. He is a holder of an MSc in Journalism and Media Studies. He is also passionate about Media and Information Literacy topics. His research interests are in democracy, politics, new media, and media ethics. He has published articles and book chapters on media and democracy, social media and political discourses, and ethical challenges during crisis times such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
