The NUST Campus Security Services strives to create a conducive academic learning environment by ensuring optimum security to staff, student and visitors as well as their property whilst maintaining the capacity to effectively deal with and eradicate all forms of contravention to NUST rules and regulations as well as Zimbabwean Law at large.
- Uphold good order on the Campus.
- Investigate any breach of NUST regulations and procedures.
- Encourage good practices among the Campus community regarding safety and security
- Ensure observance of the University’s regulations relating to behavior and parking.
- Provide a friendly, professional reception service to students, staff, and visitors.
Apart from these objectives, the Campus Security Service will, by proactive and reactive measures, endeavour to prevent:
- Personal attacks
- Disorderly, inconsiderate, and threatening behavior.
- Risk of personal injury in public places.
- Noise is detrimental to studying or relaxing.
- Damage to and theft of personal and university property.
- Damage to and theft of motor vehicles.
